Helmet?

I am looking for a helmet that I can still where a beanie underneath. Any suggestions? Or should I just go with out the beanie? Never worn a helmet before but after some hard falls last year time to get one.
 
Will it be too hot with a beanie? I was looking at the smith holt or the smith hustle. Any other suggestions with same type of style? Also want the color to be black with a little red or is it easy to customize your helmet?
 
smith helmets are good, i have a varient brim and it is sweet. life time warrenty, good quality, nothing better. the giro shiv is nice, and so is the bern macon and g if you want a more skate style helmet
 
Wearing anything under the helmet actually lowers its ability to protect your head. A proper helmet should be nice and snug fit, to the point you can hang your head upside down without the strap and it should stay on.
