If I ski mostly park (weather won’t be bothering me much) would a poc crane be a good idea as a helmet?

multiple opinions on non snow regulated helmets

Just make sure it has MIPS, that's what enables the helmet shell to twist around your head so that your neck isn't murdered if you take a bad fall.

Thanks

Which one you talking about?

cause the protec and crane don’t have ear pads

so I’m guessing you meant the ledge… but not rlly the style I’m looking for.

You can take the ear pads out

Have a homie that stole his helmet from his local skatepark. It was a protec helmet in xxl or something.

bern macon is probably your best bet though, it’s my helmet of choice.

it’s got mips, they often come without the earmuffs (even though almost all helmets can remove them)

That could be an option too

a bike helmet is designed for impacts on dirt, gravel etc.. where as a snow helmet is built to withstand contact with snow/ice. I wouldn't ride in a bike helmet for a number of reasons; first being the lack of insulation and insane amounts of ventilation. Secondly, I would have zero confidence that a bike helmet (designed for lower speeds, different impacts) would protect me whilst skiing.

Its your life so do as you please, but don't be suprised if you die lol
