Helmet Heating/Molding?

Sup NS,

So I have a quick question. I have a kinda funky shaped head, and sometimes helmets can be an issue. Currently, i have a Large Poc Receptor helmet. It is too tight on each side, but there is lots of room front/back. Is there any way I can mold it to my head a little better? Do any shops do heat molding or something? I realize its kind of a ridiculous question but it seems to be worth a shot.

Thankz

Off/on topic.....but the thought of an intuition type moldable helmet liner is intriguing. I wonder if it would increase the effectiveness of the helmet or not?

Poc actually fits a little weird in that way, I had to remove my side padding, and add padding at the back and front. Try on some other helmets, maybe youll find a better fit.

The EPS foam in the helmet is what keeps you safe because it absorbs the impact (compresses) rather than your skull. If you heat up EPS foam and then compress it around your head, you essentially destroy your helmet.

Definitely try on as many helmets as you can and find the right fit out of the box.
