Hellbent rivet

Hello.

A ski tech has managed to grind the rivets off my Hellbents and the shop are tkaing ages to deal with K2 and get replacements. Anyone know any way of getting hold of these things? Or whom I can contact?

Im in the UK so Europe would be best but I guess since the parts are so small the US would also be fine.

Thanks

The guy ran the tips through the machine, usually you release the stonegrinder before you get to the tips/tail....rookie.

Try going through another shop that is a K2 dealer. That's a pretty quick fix too, aint that hard to order new rivets-- and the shop should pay for 'em

This.

I will try and find another K2 dealer. The original shop has called K2 quite a few times and ordered the rivets but they haven't arrived yet. Im heading to France next week so I think I'm just gonna ski them as they are.

if its a clean round hole, you can always put a bolt through it with a nut on the other side....also add some wood glue to waterproof it.
then when you come back from france take the bolts out and put the K2 rivets in...
(where are you going?)

Going to Les Deux Alpes. No trees and limited freeride but its high and has a good park. Might head over to Alpe D'Huez for a day if theres good snow there.

i just called with a friend who lives there, hes also a freerider, and he says: "pas beaucoup mais superbon !!" = not much snow but excellent quality !

have fun there !!
