Hey guys evo has some hell bents on sale for pretty cheap and its been one of those skis Ive always wanted but never got a chance to buy. The problem Im having is that they only have 169's. Im 5'10"ish and 140 pounds. My daily driver are 185 armada jjs and im woried about the hellbents being too short. This obiously wont be my charging ski, i just want a soft ski to play around on in the deep days. Idealy I would get 179s but will 10cm be a big difference? Or sould I just go for the deal?

Yeah I think that be too short. you generally want a pow ski to be taller than you. Last year I was 5'9" and I skies 179 hellbents and loved them

They would probably be a fun park ski at 169. I still might go for em if you ski park often. How much are they?

I would suggest getting some used off of here. You can get them for 150-200, and that's great if they are just something you want to play on!

You can do better. Unless you REALLY want a short hellbent for like... Low angle trees or somethin.

Hellbents aren't even that great of a ski anymore.

EVERY FUCKING NOOD HAS HELL BENTS! trust me i have a pair and i havent road them in two yearshttp://artificial-ski-co.myshopify.com/ check out the NARTURES man! they

are made by artificial a new and upcoming company out of washington!

Dont be a follower like the rest and try something new and be a leader

in your skiing gang with the only one with a boutique all bamboo

mountain destroyer!

Dude, Hellbents...are not a park ski. Like, ever. Sure, people ski them in the park occasionally, but it's more for novelty than utility. It would be a waste of $400 to pick up a pair of 'Bents solely for park.

Al's ski barn have a load of hellbents for pretty cheap. They have every model for the last 4 years so you've got a good choice there.

That's not true. They have the same skis that you get off the wall at you're local shop. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

I'm interested in getting the Magic J's. Could you give a somewhat detailed review of them? And how do they do on groomers when getting back to the lift. Also, are they durable? I can't find much about them. Thanks SO much!
