i cannot decide if i should get the ar5s or arvs. i ski like half park half powder, mabye a lil more park. so is it worth the little less performance in the park for a better ski in pow with the arvs? how are the arvs in park compared to the ar5s?

 
i think you should get the arv's cuz they still rip the park and it will make all the difference in pow.

 
what do you mean by powder? (as in how deep, on average)

arv's, because once you've skied a fat ski you'll wonder why you ever rode skinny ones

i ski anything, 6 inches to 3 feet. mostly bc kickers though, so i want to float for switch landings and switch riding with some cliffs and stuff. i ski lotsa heavy old snow too, when there is no new

 
Well then, ARVs, obviously. In fact, they might not even be fat enough... might want to check out moships or pimp daddys or something. If you can find them.

yeh dude, i'd say motherships. i have them and they massacre the park as well as rip pow and BC booters and crud. their flex is really stiff through most of the ski for crud busting and general terrain domination, but soft in the tips and tails for floating and cushy park landings.

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.
 
Constantly happens. Should i get the ARV or AR5?

Get motherships. Help the guy out with his final two choices, dont confuse him more than he already is. The Arvs are pretty stiff, and they can be hard to turn sometimes, so if you dont mind sacraficing manuvarability for stability and floatation in deep pow, then ARVs are choice. Ar5s do exceptionally well in the powder, i only need one pair of skis now...(AR5)
