Heliotrope Ridge early season??

I have been thinking about taking a trip up to Heliotrope ridge in late October early November and was just wondering if anyone has done this trip?

Or if you have any other recommendations for good early season skin trips.

Well we first need to get some snow, but me and a couple buddies were gona head up there as soon as possible.

We would love to have some canadian spirit with us. I will let you know when we set a date.

Boom shit roasted.

But as it is we already have 5 people possibly 6 interested in this trip. I dont really want to put a limit on how many people can have a wonderful day but logistically things may not work out with the number of cars we have...
 
And the fourth got DQed? Haha sista, NOT mama.

And if I go I'd be coming from Canada, and can drive anyone from Kendall to glacier to baker
 
There is a possibility that we may be able to do this wednesday depending on the snow level of this storm coming in.

I will be going if the snow level cooperates. And again the following weekend if it stays cool enough.
 
Oh and im going up to heliotrope today for a little hike with ma puppy. If anyone wants to join we will be at the trail head around 1130.
 
Ummmm like it would be a little bit of a slog to head up wednesday. Looking in the forecast for a day with some sun...
 
Looks like its going to dump up there tonight. Im thinking it will consolidate a bit and become easier to skin. You down for this weekend?~
 
This weekend is tough for me with soccer/psat.

So im going to try and get up there thursday and see how it's. But we still have plenty of time for an expedition.

does mid week not work well for you?
 
Haha, understandable.

Well weekends usually work for me, this one is just a bit tough. So i will keep watching the weather and next good weekend we are good to go.
 
Ok well due to some sweet scheduling conflicts i am open sunday if anyone is down.

I have no idea really if we will get any pow pow...
 
K, so weather has been nice recently.

Hopefully no rain on friday, and snow levels seem to be dropping. Looks like first week in november is a good time as any.
 
yo yo yo yall, im headed up tomorrow for some early season turns!

I will be waking up before the crack of dawn and will be documenting my adventure.

Will be updating with pictures and hopefully a little edit.
 
Really? like how long ago did they ski it?

Because it definitely snowed up there in the last couple days.
