Heli-skiing

You should do it any chance you get, it's a whole different experience from resort skiing. Post some vid when you get back.
 
your right it aint cheap and ill have to work longer hours to get the money haha

but is it as good as its made out to be eventhough its one of my skiing dreams !!
 
Do it now, go for one day. You WILL have the best day of your life and you WILL become addicted. It's the way heliskiing works, you do it once and it's the most addicting drug in the world. Great stuff, I'm heading out for 2 or 3 heli trips this year in Panorama at RK Heli-skiing. Went twice last year, one day of pillow lines and neck deep powder, one day on the alpine glaciers huckin cliffs and such.
 
nothing beats the feeling of hearing the chopper blades start spinning. i went a few years ago in NZ, one of the best days ive ever had, and the snow wasn't even that amazing. its an experience.
 
as mentioned, do it whenever possible. also, terrain out of Whistler is really good for a 1 day heli adventure. only places better would be the fly-in lodges for multi-day trips.

the only time i'd not consider heli skiing for day is if i could get a multi-day cat trip for a little bit more.
