What are the chances of getting bad bad conditions at Heavenly during the first week of April. Is it more than likely or a pretty fair shot ?

there are a lot better places to go in tahoe than heavenly. the mountain mountain is jsut a traverse. go to squaw alpine of kirkweed

perhaps but for $250 for 5 nights/4 ski days, I'm not sure I could get that deal anywhere else... and I've looked around...

Anyone know about the usual snow conditions for early April ?

unfortunatley i have to disagree. i think heavenly is a pretty cool place. and if you know where to go, you can be hitting powder a week or two after a storm.

the difference between snowboarders and dual plankers? we're cooler.

I'm also not a huge fan of heavenly. If you're getting a deal by all means take advantage of it but heavenly is like the disneyland of ski resorts.

Eggs and bacon please, eggs over skeezy

it'll either be perfectly sunny and warm or dumping snow the whole time you're here . . . either way is good

I agree with mammothpunks. There are alot better places to go other then Heavenly. Go to a website that shows base depths for CA resorts and you will see that compared to Alpine, Squaw, Kirkwood, Heavenly's base is low compared to these resorts. However, they do have a prime location being in the heart of South Lake Tahoe.
