Heated sock discount code?

gf got frostbite and was just diagnosed with Reynaud's. I wanna buy her some heated socks from like lenz or thermic, just wondering if anyone had a discount code before I pay full price

Does anyone like their heated socks? I got toe frostbite a couple years back and my toes have been so so cold since. I have the hotronic footbed heating system and I hate it. Great when its working but I've broken them too many times to count

I like mine, but they are quite a bit thicker than my normal socks. So much thicker that I can't wear them with my alpine boots. My touring boots have a thin enough liner that they work there.

I have a 1cm shell fit for reference

I found an open box deal on eBay of Hotronic surround Slims heated socks for $75. I found an older used model of the batteries for like $80.

They're alright. I'm glad I didn't pay full price as this was just to see if they would work. The slims aren't very slim. It's a tight fit in my boots and the seams for the heating element don't quite land right on my feet. They land right on my bunions and under the heel . I'm aware of it but they kept my toes from turning into ice cubes on a couple single digit high days. The calf portion is like a tourniquet it's so dang tight. Ive only used them twice as it hasn't been that cold here this season. My toes were numb at the end of the day not from cold, but from being squeezed because they socks are Thick in comparison to my usual socks.

I've had bad frostbite for a long time now and have done most solutions and have fount the heated socks to be way more reliable than the two different boot heaters ive rocked over the years. The battery life is still eh if you're skiing long days, but they keep me from needing to go into the lodge once or twice a ski day.

The only real problem with them is if you don't wash them every single day you have to keep wearing the same gross ski socks. I have the thermic ones and at least they are good-ish ski socks heating aside.

This place has some Thermic and other brands for semi-reasonable prices. It's a Canadian site so all pricing is CAD which is worth roughly $0.75 US to $1.00. I don't know enough about the different models to know which is thinnest. I've been thinking about getting some for a while.

Supposedly the Lenz 6.0 are the thinnest of the Lenz brand and for the Hottronic the surround Thins. I read this on other forums discussing these socks.

shes not working with a tight bootfit so sock thickness shouldn't be a huge deal! I'm thinking worst case maybe heat mold with the heated socks on so the elements aren't pressure points

the durability is why I was leaning to socks for her, also she could use socks in her regular winter boots. will buy her multiple pairs if she likes them. also since therm-ic and sidas socks use the same battery im leaning to therm-ic just for more sock availability

i wuz gonna come in here making fun of u for buying heated socks but it was wholesome instead

wow so now i'm getting downvoted? fuck you buddy you're a pussy for needing heated socks like what kind of bitch ass 1st world problem is this ? heated socks my ass im half your age and twice your balls go back to yapville where you came from ??

Also, think about hottronics that can be put on her footbeds & boot gloves. I caved and bought a pair of the boot gloves and tbh they're a game changer. I have reynauds and it's excruciating when my feet get cold, it's seriously hours long to warm up and it's just not fun. Keep her warm & explore some other options if the socks cost too much. The boot gloves are ugly but lol they keep me warm
