Heat or foam?

Just bought custom foam liners from surefoot and was wondering whats better, those or the heat moldable liners you are starting to see?
 
for surefoot liners, you need to go to a shop, because they have a thing filled with sand, and there is a whole process to it. those heat moldable footbeds ones i have no experience with, because i get free surefoot custom liners. i do know that the heat moldable bladders for boots are great. i have the dalbello proton 8's with a custom footbed, and heat molded bladder, and they are real nice. it was also free for me, because my dad works at a shop where they have all of those machines. if you buy a boot from the shop, they should mold the bladder for free. that is if they have that kind of a bladder.
 
there are boots that have bladders that you inject with foam, but those are real expensive, and generally used for racers.
