hey..i gotta bend the back of my atomic twintips up a little more, their not high enough for me..anyone ever used a heat gun to bend a ski? ive heard of people doing it, but i dont wanna screw up and end up with a pair of haggered skis

thanks

Ya shoulda just gotten skis with more upturned tails to start with. You're taking a huge risk by turning tails yourself.

ya i wouldn't recomend doing this....unless it's a really old pair of skis...

(like my back up 160cm straight dynstars)i have just in case i break my twins....i'll bend the tails on those, cause i don't care about them...

You don;t want to mess up a good pair of skis...

Which pair of atomics you got? if you have the Rodeo's your npt gonna catch your back tip.

yeah if they're twin tips you won't catch your tails, last year i never caught my tips landing backwards on normal skis. (although i only did 180s, i don't know about 540s, since you'd be getting more air and on bigger jumps) also you could really mess up your skis. but if you want to do it powder had a littel thing on bending tails up in a buyers guide a few years ago.
