share your health tips questions ideas etc. here! or dont.

be nice if you can be

ill start

- stretching makes a world of difference in any sport

- try to eat at least half vegetables if its an option. you will feel the difference over time yet fast, if you dont already eat this way

- stay hydrated, i personally drink a gallon a day or more. good spring water is best if because of natural minerals. know whats in your water, most water is more messed up than youd imagine

- (mental health) watch what you put in your head. "protect your brain'' is what a mentor told me once and its true. lots of kids get lost and depressed (or worse) these days.. if you consume unhealthy food, media, habits, drugs, relationships etc.. your brain and view on life can get sick like a body and you can be just as unaware of it. balance is key

- read ingredients on foods you buy and eat. avoid foods containing soy that shouldnt and stuff with dyes. lots of fake (most often frozen) food out there void of good minerals otherwise naturally present

- cucumbers are super good extra hydration and minerals

- onions and garlic help kill parasites

- eating primarily root vegetables makes you feel great

I love this thread man!

In terms of mental and physical health (and I know it's ultra cliche) but a good diverse diet, with heaps of veges and fruit is the best thing ever. Combined with exercise, and staying away from stimulants (even caffeine) and depressants (alcohol) you will be healthier in literally every mental and physical aspect.

Eat oranges because they are dope

If it is your things, psychedelics (not sure if i can mention that on here but oh well) can be great for mental health

Water and apples. I try to drink 3 to four nalgenes a day and 2 apples a day. Helps. Slowly cutting down on my meat intake as well. All my meat intake basically comes from ham sandwiches now lol.

Low meat intake is so important I think. I have cut meat down so much this last year and I have been feeling way better. Plus any meat and dairy that isn't organic or you know where it's from might as well be poison. I've read some disturbing things about mainstream meat and dairy in the USA

My mental health is declining, it's been exactly 4 weeks, 2 days and 2 hours since eheath has banned me from posting AMAs in NSG. My fingers are twitching, the slight thought of being able to share my fulfilling life with curious NSers make me shiver and have goosebumps. I am a shadow of my former self, I have dreams that I can host AMAs again and revive NSG from the dead. Yes I know some people might call me insane in this thread, did i ever tell you the definition of insanity? Insanity is doing the exact same fucking thing over and over again and expecting shit to change. That is crazy. But the first time somebody told me that.I don't know I thought they were bullshiting me so, boom I got eheath to ban him

Keeping your house in order is pretty good for mental health. Keeping things organized, bed made, dishes cleaned, and putting items in their place will reduce that undercurrent of stress that's present in a messy living area. It's important to reduce stress in the areas of your life that you can control so that when things come up that are outside of your control it doesn't overwhelm you. Some people say they like the mess, and I used to be one of those people, but I don't think anyone truly likes to be messy and by saying so it's more of a way to cope with being undisciplined.

Make your bed every morning as soon as you wake up/before you do anything else! It sounds dumb but subconsciously your brain gets feeling of accomplishment first thing in the morning that goes a long way for sustained mental health.

(I've tried the morning-workout too, but just cant get myself to do it routinely.) Making your bed is an easy win right off the bat and it feels great to come home to a clean room

If you drink enough alcohol you wont get sick. Alcohol is used to disinfect. If you maintain enoigh alcohol in your

system germs can't fuck with you.

If you drink enough, you will agree with him

Your environment has a large affect on you. You will become like the people you surround yourself with. I've found making an effort to spend time with people who have attributes that I want to adopt is a great practice.

i have found that smoking my cigarettes backwards has improved my cool. all the women love me and clint eastwood emailed me about being his long lost son

I’m physically in good shape but my eating habits are pretty shit. My parents always say if it doesn’t come out of a box or bag I won’t eat it. Now does anyone wanna see me eat a whole big bag of flaming hot Cheetos in one sitting? Because I know I can do it.

That's actually really horrible. It's not funny to be killing yourself slowly. All that boxed and bagged food is gonna fuck you up over time if you don't find a natural balance

Same I'm slowing changing mine, been eating lots of chicken breast for dinner, salads, fruits yogurt, etc but I still eat chips, cheez its, candy, my big battle is quitting chocolate. My workout lately is skating 3 or 4 hours a weekend, but need to hit a gym and actually work my upper body for once.

Vaginal reconstruction is a healthy thing to do these days. Celebrities told me so.

Look, you can eat anything considered "healthy", work out at the gym, do yoga and pray every Sunday... and you might still get cancer. Health is quite the luck of the draw. I know people that smoke a pack a day, 70 years old and still in great health.

Push yourself. Get out there and do it. Dont hike 2 miles and turn around, go the 10 miles, take the uphill way instead of the downhill way on the bike. Ive been pushing myself and i feel awesome.

my asshole hurts from reading this.

I usually start my day by getting dressed in my 4xl hoodie and grab myself a dragon fruit. I then start my hot yoga, which detoxifies and relieves stress. Recently, I had to do a double session after seeing tgr's most recent "film". Afterwards, I go to into my backyard where I keep my exotic goats. I then milk the goats alike to Luke in The Last Jedi. I like to drink straight from the tit, this is a great way to obtain a non GMO source of calcium to keep my bones strong for when I hit the dab. My neighbor is a Hasidic Jew who makes the best bagels, kinda pricey but definitely worth it. As for my other meals, I just go to Arby's because they HAVE THE MEATS.

Cardio everyday or at least intense cardio more than twice a week.

Just started jumping rope again. Jesus christ I forgot what a work out you can make it.

Calisthenics are an awesome way to improve strength without really needing a gym or any equipment. Started following a real routine this past spring and absolutely love it. For anyone looking for a workout routine that gives you functional strength and doesn't take up a large chunk of the day, I'd highly recommend it. Combine it with stretching and you will be invincible

Microdosing these things is considered to be the future of anxiety and depression medication.

Macro dose will never be beat though. I think a high dose experience to set into motion good habits followed by micro dosing to help the person integrate over the next few months. Just My thoughts having done alot of work for myself with them

Could you guys provide me a easy stretching routine to do? Im stiff as and i would like to change that!

Look online for a basic yoga progression, those are usually very universal and good to start with

You can probably find really inexpensive yoga or pilates classes or something like that through a local community center or community college. Might be worth enrolling in something to give you a little bit more motivation to do it.

100%. You are just a reflection of the different people you’ve spent time with in your lifetime.

My old HS tryouts for varsity was a week long camp at night at a local university with their teams players, before 2 weeks of 3 hour sessions twice a day. Shit sucked but even with sports induced asthma I was so conditioned, fucking miss it since I'm so out of shape now

Listen to Reflection by Tool.

The premise of that song is that, we are all one being. And that essentially we are just reflections of the people around us.

If you take that further, there is no such thing as "you" or the "individual" as everyone one of your hobbies, thoughts and actions etc is put into action by external influences.

Have you done suicides or Chelsea’s?

Never did suicides on the field unless we were bad in practice or something, the worst part for me was having to go back and forth cone to cone 20ft apart like 20 times, that's where the asthma was bad. In middle school our coach would make us do suicides and what's called jonesies which were hell, sprint the short side corner flag to other, jog the rest of the field and continue to sprint each side over 4 laps, as a 7th & 8th grader it fucking sucked ass.

I still do my soccer stretch routine before skating or skiing, coach was a freak and taught yoga too so he was all #healthgangofficial.

Did you ever have to do the cooper test for high school tryouts? It sucks
