any audiophiles present? alright i am looking for a nice pair of headphones but under $75us. I listen to basically anything form hip hop to rock to reggae, and probably most stuff inbetween. id be using it with a minindisc player, and my computer. no amp for now. probly wouldnt be using it skiing. hmm any suggestions?

i'm on my 4th pair in like 2 years, of the mdv or whatever, anyways they're super nice, but they brake easily, like if you sit on them etc, and one pair the jack broke in the cold ( it just broke in 2) so anyways they are super sick, but buy them at best buy and get the warranty thingy deal

Just get the little Philips Air buds for like 5 bucks, they're good, don't break easy but when they do are cheap to replace.

If you want really nice headphones get noise canceling ones. Make sure they cover your entire ear and don't just sit on top of them. I have sony MDR-NC20http://www.crutchfield.com/S-Y3KwluD1xCt/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?i=158MDRNC20

kinda spendy but you turn them on and its like everyone around you just shut up so you can listen to music. also enchances the bass. best audio product i've ever owned
