Headed to Whistler on friday, any suggestions?

I'm leaving Chicago headed to Whistler Blackcomb for spring break on friday. What're the conditions like and does anyone have any suggestions on food, spots, etc? We're 18 and the flight and skiing will leave most of us broke, so cheap and good is best. Thanks

yeah probably hit up that safeway in the village for food that you can bring yourself cause food on mountain costs a lot. that and try out everything, i wish i had done a greater variety of stuff when i went last year. it's so big...

-Make sure you spend at least as much time on Blackcomb as Whistler

-Ski the bowls! They can be as fun as the park

-Check out Glacier Shop

-If you're buying any gear in the village, look in many shops for better deals because there's so much competition between them

 
glacier shop is cool to look, but expensive as balls^...nice guys there though....

a well appreciated apres-ski place is the longhorn..nachos are dope. your just under the legal drinking age...so your kinda screwed there...

We're going on friday too! What are the conditions like? Specifically the park. I don't care about 800ft tables just anything under 40ft. Is the wall still there? Has it been snowing lately?(it is here in alberta) What temperatures should we expect? Is there a helmet rule in the park? Wow thats alot of questions............

 
I had a lot of fun on the 7th heaven lift on blackcomb....lakeside bowl is pretty fun if they have a good amount of snow

harmony zone and its bowls are fun as shit on pow days...i like that better than 7th heaven...check out spankys ladder too if its open...

Pretty much everything in the village is 40% off, if you want to do a bit of shopping. Get someone with a season's pass to buy your lunch and it's half price. And yeah... ski nothing below a 90mm waist.

Make sure you head to 7th Heaven, when I was there, there were some really sweet, almost untouched wind lip jumps.

There are quite a few peopple hitting them, actually... you really need to take a fair amount of speed into them to get any height. But the landings are nice for natural features.

yep like the person said above at least spend as much time on blackcomb as whistler.

For food also check out the IGA, sometimes they have some good little deals going on (ie 99c pies). Also Maccas has that $4 meal thing going on...
