Head mojo boots

I have em.

I think there a sick boot. I came from using race boots that were too big. I ended up with super bad shin bang and I lost both of my big toenails last season. The way the guy in the shop described it to me, is that the mojo boot almost has a race sole or bottom of the boot, and a medium flex upper. The race bottom helps alot with holding a edge and skiing at faster speeds. The upper part of the boot has a perfect flex for me, as I never get shin bang, but the boot doesnt squirrel around alot when pushed. The flex index is 9.6, and 8.6 if you take a bolt out of the back. The boot is perfect for me. The boot is probably not perfect for you. Go to your boot fitter and just get boots there. If he recommended the mojo boot for you, now you know its a good boot....but dont just go out and buy it because I said that I like it.

i have a pretty wide foot. How are these in the archillies tendon? I seem to be pretty skinny in the heel and quite wide further up my foot.

The best advice I can give you is to try them on. It seems like they arent built for super wide feet, but who knows. My feet are kind of planky and the boot holds them in just fine. As for the heel/achielles tendon area, its great. The put all this extra material above the heel area. My heel locks down in the bottom of the boot, and is held down by the extra material at the top. I should probably take a picture or something to show you...it helps that much. The only problem is that whenever I put the boot on I compress the liner and I kind of have to wiggle it to get my heel to the bottom. THe best advice I can give you is to try them on.

if you've got a pretty wide foot i would check out the nordica beast line of boots and possibly the lange conecpt line. try the boots on and see what feels the best

The Mojo is a 100 last, which is narrower than the rest of the Head Freeride line. The heel is padded more too so it fits narrower at first, but I've had a few guys come back to my shop with them saying that they packed out really fast. Definitely go to a good bootfitter and see what he thinks. I think only buy them if they feel pretty snug, and give them at least 15 days before you do any punching.

so i have the mojos also and they fit very well for a wide foot and a skinny heel, there is a crap load of extra padding in the heel which will help prevent bruising heels, i landed from about 40-50 feet up to flat and i dint bruise my heels, i just got a concusion from whiping back, the buckles can also be moved around to fit different shin widths, i have a large shin/calf so i moved the buckles up a notch and now they are perfect. it is a really comfortable boot too

they're wider throughout the most of the foot and pretty narrow in the heel. they really wrap around your achillies.

pretty decent flex too.

my problem with the mojo boots is that i feel pain on the side of the foot... maybe its because i only have ride with them for 2 days...

Listen to what you are saying, are you stupid or just can't comprehend logic? 40-50 feet to flat, yea right. You think a centimeter of extra padding is going to help you out with that? Did they discover some new material that defies the laws of physics to prevent you from being hurt? No, it is just a matter of luck. The little rubber insole they put in boots for 'shock absorption' is just a marketing ploy, it is has little to no effect.

i really like the proformace of the boots but how the tongue is shaped the plastic makes my feet go numb so i had undo my buckles every run but they are gone now :(
