HD is dead, I'm alive...barely.

So yeah, Macbook Pro hard drive crashed last week. My local authorized service center is going to be able to retrieve everything I didn't have backed up so I'm stoked, but I was sweating it for awhile. Anyhow. Be careful, they're great computers but CAN crash.

It is a good idea to back up any laptop quite frequently, it is the nature of the beast having a portable machine. Good call though i havnt backed my notes up for about a week and a bit.

my macbook crashed and they couldnt recover anything. i had backup though and now time machine so i'm not worried.

im on my third macbook hd in little over a year.
first one was faulty out of factory though
