HD Camera

I need a new camera, with video being more important then stills, and I have looked at the go pro hd hero but are there any other options for me to look at.

Get a flip hd. I have the Mino 8Gig HD and its pretty legit for such a tiny cam, good quality footage with good colours, have only used it filming around my house though, but am planning on using it for skiing this winter. They only shoot 720P at 30 frames per second but I would say are easier to use than a go-pro if you shooting anything but POV's. They come in a bunch of different models. They all have tripod mounts so you can shoot with a tripod or make a handle, thats what i'm planning on doing. And their all around 200$.

Here's their website: http://www.theflip.com

Kodak Zi8 or gopro HD. they both shoot 1080p 30fps, and 720p 60fps, but they are different style cameras, i have both, and love both. the GoPro can be mounted as a helmet cam, as you know, and in some other crazy, inventive places, but the Kodak is easier to use, doesnt use fisheye, and has a built in USB so it plugs straight into computers, which is very useful.

so its really personal preference for what you like to use your camera for, but both are awesome.

ive only posted it in two threads, but in this case its actually exactly what he is looking for. and i need the money. but ill stop to make you happy!

I am thinking of the Go pro because of the video quality, and also it doesn't matter as much if it gets dropped (it kinda happens to me a lot, i always drop everything:(

yo if somebody just wanted a clear, steady camera with no frills or features what would you tell them
