Hawx Ultra XTD Liner Replacement?

So I just spent a season touring the Hawx Ultra XTDs (about 25 days touring, and 10 days at the resort on the boots), and I have to say, the boots are amazing. Great uphill and downhill capability, even skied them at the resort a few times while my other boots were broken. The liner is showing major wear on the tongue at the hinge point as well as by the ankle pockets/Achilles. BUT, I have to say the Ultra XTD liner is absolute trash. No heel cupping, barely any ankle pockets exist even after molding, and the downhill capability is diminished because of this. Is it worth going to an intuition liner for touring? Wrap or tongue?

My resort set up is an Atomic hawx Ultra 130 with an intuition pro wrap liner, and I have been in a pro wrap liner for the past 6 years. Love them and couldn't speak more highly of them. Does anyone have any experiences with the pro wrap tour or pro tongue tour? Or is there another solution out there that I am missing?

TL;DR I want a nicer liner in my touring boots, what are my options without diminishing uphill performance and increasing downhill performance?

Not sure if this helps but I have the atomic backland boots and the stock liners are not great. I have tried to swap out for an intuition wrap and a tongue liner but I cannot physically get them in the boot.

I just ordered an intuition tour wrap a couple days ago for my xtd. I will let you know what its like after they’re in.

Confirmed tour wrap is the way to go. Just got done with my bootfit and they’re amazing. They are super tight and a little funky before the fit so be sure to have it done by a pro. If you can find a pair, get em. I have a 28.5 xtd and put in a 29 liner.

Sweet, I will probs throw in a 28 liner in my 27.5 xtd then. Honestly forgot about this thread but it snowed in Bozeman and now I am gearing back up for another season so thank you for the info!

just a heads up, the wrap liner will not tour as well. Intuition tongue liner will be higher performance than stock, but not as good downhill as wrap. Blister talks about it in their review of roxa r3 130 ti

Just chuck the stock liners from your Hawx Ultras in there. boom done.

I know at least 2 people who have done this and it made the boots far more substantial. Not as comfortable or flexible for touring in as the stock liners, but hey.. use them until it's time to lose em.

Pro wrap isn't going to tour well. Get a touring liner, the hinge at the ankle makes a huge difference. Intuition ftw
