Recently I forgot my On3ps seven hours away in BC , Yea i'm an idiot. Luckily my cousins are shipping them to me. It just got me thinking has anyone else lost or forgot there skis anywhere ?, and have they got them back.

I took a fall in some powder at vail and ejected from only one ski and never found it after digging with ski patrol for two hours

My mate left his skis and gear at an Apres Bar and only realised 3 days later. Must have been a hell of a hangover!

Yeah. I left them in the village at Northstar one time after getting on the piss after work. Luckily, they were still on the rack 2 days later.

I, also, left them on the racks at the resort I worked at in Aus while, also, getting on the piss after work. They were blown over the next day and covered with snow. Lost my poles because of that one. It was a fun night though so I don’t regret it.

Once I took a big tumble and tomahawked halfway down the mountain, and my right ski ejected. I hiked up and looked around for it until the mountain shut down but I didn’t find anything. Next day I was takin a shit and low and behold my black ops 118 comes barreling out of my ass. Man those edges sharp. I will say I almost got the quad cork 16 that I crashed trying to throw tho.

Lost a full camber ski under some powder 5yrs ago. Bitch torpedoed like no body's business. Found it after like 15min 20ft away but damn had me worried..

Left my skis at alpental a few years ago. Luckily guest services clutched up so shout out to them.

Almost lost a ski at crysal a few weeks ago too. Spent 20 minutes digging around to find out it was right below where I started the whole time.

I came really, really close a couple of years ago in Tahoe. Dropped a small cliff on a super deep, super light powdery day. Got thrown forward upon landing - double eject. One ski stayed buried while the other went flying down the hill. The snow was so dry, light, and deep that day that my bomb hole filled back in immediately, so there was no real hope of reaching around to find my buried ski. Looking back up the hill I wasn't even sure where exactly I had landed.

Luckily it was a demo day at the hill, so I grabbed a new pair of skis, headed back to the same cliff, dropped it again with the same speed to figure out approximately where I'd landed the first time, took off a ski, and just started slashing it through the snow until, by some stroke of luck, I hit my buried ski. The whole adventure took 2-3 hours.
