Hats'n'helmets

Personally, I think its uncomfortable and think it looks a bit strange.....but if you think it looks good and like it, I couldnt care less about what other people wear. rock what you like.

I prefer the comfort of a balaclava/beanie under my helmet, take the ear pieces off cause they use to make my ears ache. I leave the padding inside and make sure it's tight tho, find it nice to let my long hair flow out a bit too
 
I wear a blackstrap balaclava and goggles under the helmet with ear pieces out and padding in. Spring laps I'll sometimes pull the bucket hat under the helmet cause flat caps feel weird under a helmet imo
 
If you can fit a baseball hat under your helmet your helmet doesn't fit. It's like wearing slippers in your boots, or underwear under your baselayer.
 
Been doin it a couple years now, biggest benefit I find is ppl can see your line of sight/which way you’re going (or at least which way you’re looking) for sure.. I don’t like it with Gogs anymore I just wear sunglasses constantly.
