Quick question to all you camera guys on here:

I saw in my local paper that there is a hassleblad camera (and lens, forget what size) for $975. I know that these are the cream of the crop as far as medium format cameras go... is that a good price or not really?

I'd google the model and lenses and see what floating around on craigslist and ebay, thats probably the best way to see what they are going.

Its all local pickup stuff, I might go check it out, seems to good to be true but you cant really get scammed if you pick it up yourself. I think its possibly somebody not knowing what they have?

Go to keh.com and assemble a complete kit; body, lens back and finder and find the cost. You could probably get it for less. I've heard of a lot of people getting them for a couple hundred less lurking ebay and buying components at different times too.

If you're gonna pick one up, research things to look for when buying one used. It has to be on the interwebz somewhere.
