Hasbro ruined super soaker

i looked up super soakers for my lil bros 7th bday. not like they used to be. i was looking for improvements, maybe one of those plastic electric cars with a 50 cal hooked up to a 10 gallon tank.

+K to both of you guys for making me laugh.....

these were me & my brothers' bread & butter guns growing up:

but we always wanted this & it looks like, as of 2007, they were still manufacturing them:

maybe they just hit the limit of how powerful & soaking a water gun could really be.

my wife did the backpack thing because shes a girl. and like 12 apparently.

The super soaker 50 was my bread and butter, so much more reliable than any of the other ones! Of course, if you had the proper hose and sprayer that could be legit also. and dont forget water balloons.

I used to duel wield two of the rifle ones and the soaker 2000 back pack tank flame thrower one all miejer . U came down my block you better stay strapped cuz I wouldn't hesitate to lay down some heat ya dig

I had some bazooka thing that you refilled by pressing the nossel down onto this platform that hooked onto a garden house. Pretty cool stuff

if someone had a supersoaker 2000 they were boss. no one would even mess with them during battles

we modified my buddies 100 or 150 or something to replace the pressure tank with a 2liter. took forever to get it full pump but that thing could take paint off the walls

i had the old one that looked just like that. was so badass, the problem was that you could never catch the person you were trying to hit b/c it was so big lol

ha wow that brought back such good memories of such an epic summer, there were like 15 kids in my neighborhood that got way into super soakers, you would just walk outside with your super soaker, and there would constantly be like 5+ kids running around blasting each other. i destroyed with my 2000, i started putting milk in mine, not sure why, but it was awesome.

I definitely rocked that super soaker 50. couldn't afford the bigger ones. still though with a bit of stealth and agility and you could take down your buddy whose parents got him the big one.

Couldn't even afford that one back then, I had some cheap knock-off "shotgun" that doesn't accrue pressure, just blast with every pump. It was still great though, and it still works perfectly, compared to my cousins who got whatever they wanted they had all those huge 2000's and whatnots, they usually had broken down at the end of the summer.

I remember how my dad was using the big SS2000 because it was too big for us too use and way too heavy. haha! You guys made me nostalgia A LOT!

i think the water packs they have now look pretty freakin sweet, its like reloading a real gun like a wu-tang thug. and having pistols is awesome in my opinion. i was always the kid who took the pistols when playing with nerf guns or airsoft guns. but it looks like they are trying to make their water guns look more realistic. i like that.

When I was about 6 or 7 i think. My friends brother had a super soaker 2000 and I could not even carry it when it was full of water.
