Has NS ever talked about an ignore feature?

A lot of message boards allow you to put whoever you want on "ignore". Essentially you don't even see the post. I spend a lot of time scrolling and notice that there are lots of people I would like not even bother reading the first few words of. just a thought.

There is an ignore option in peoples profiles.

It blocks them from messaging you but i dont know if what they post in the forums is blocked too or not.

Try it out and block me

the ignore is only valid for messages. would take alot of processing to filter every thread by your ignores

I don't think it would be hard to not show their posts. That would be retarded though. It would throw off continuity of the threads.

Nope, been talked about a lot, but its not gonna happen. Its part of NS. Think about it, if there were an edit button faunt would never have happened.

ignores in the threads would be stupid because if the person you ignoreod said something that realloy got the thread going, it would confuse you... eveyrthing would be coming out of nowhere!

yea I think both the edit and ignore options would mess everything up. you can always just hit the back button if a person you dont like keeps commenting on a thread. unless it's your thread... that'd be annoying.
