Hey Ns's,

Wondering if anyone has skiers the 4Frnt vandal this season? It'd be sweet of you could give me a run down on how you feel about it?

I have the Vandal in a 186. I'm just under 6 feet tall and the 186 length is perfect for me. It's fairly soft and has some early rise in the tip and tail, so it's a great all mountain jib ski. It's a little soft for bigger features, but if you're skiing more playful/smaller features, it's pretty much the perfect ski. It can hold up on the big jumps too, I just find it a bit soft on the firm park landings. I mounted it 2 cms back from true centre and it skis just great!

Thanks for the reply! How is it ok edge? I know it's won't carve your on rails but how is it? How is the weight? I'm an intermediate -advanced all mountain skier. I haven't done that much park before. You think they'd be alright?

They're probably perfect for what you're looking for. Since they're fairly soft, they're very forgiving. They turn really easily in softer conditions too. I would suggest trying them for sure!

Yea dood, I got a pair of these sticks for the 2016-2017 ski season. Absolutely love them...they are an amazing all mountain ski as the rocker makes it easy to butter off of rollers yet there is still plenty of pop in the tip and tail so I never have issues with transfers and what not. At first I was a little timid on hard pack groomers with regards to their ability to carve. However, I quickly realized that there was no need to hold back at all despite the underfoot rocker. As you carve the curvature of the rocker in the tips and tails actually hugs the snow and keeps you locked in. I'm from the "ice" coast and I can stay on edge with no issues at all. The sidewall is nice; however, it could be a little thicker in my opinion. The edges are very tough, no complaints about them...I hit rails in the park all of the time and so far no cracked edges which is pretty surprising after skiing them like that for a year. With regards to the looks of the ski...they are simply sick. I can't begin to explain how many people have come up to me and asked me "yo what skis are those, the all black on neon yellow looks dope". My only negative comment about the ski is that the top sheet of the ski really shows all of the scratches and dinks from when you're in the park or just skiing all mountain. They chipped a little bit amount but nothing that will take away from their performance at all.
