in person....if they have how do they look for eastcoast groomers park and some pow? cause i really wanna look into some rockered skis

they aren't that rockerd, and i would suggest maybe some fujatives or something, moment skis is making a rockered park ski, people will laugh at you with fat skis on groomers on the east.

98 (or whatever width they are) isn't that fat, I mean drew was skiing a similiar ski in the park all last year, and this was at canyon (worse than the east coast). And K2 has got some kind of mini rocker idea happening, I'm not sure how that works.

here's the deal with the mini rocker in the Seth's: it's only in the shovel of the ski, the tails are traditional camber... if you put both skis base to base and totally flatten the camber (making the bases touch completely), you will see a slight flair in the shovels - it starts about 12-15" from the tip of the ski, and is very mellow... the tips curve up normally where you would expect them to, but the there is that area (about 10 or so inches) of mini rocker up there...

as far as skiing them on the east coast, no problem at all - yeah, it's 98mm under foot, but it's also a total quiver of one ski - park, pow, groomers are totally legit...

i dont think they would really laugh at you they would just be thinking wtf because half the people in the east probably dont even know that they make anything fatter than 90mm, as far as joeys go

kid i ski with have them, they really are not that much rockered, maybe 5cms of the tip and tail are rockered, i dont really think you can call them rockered

Check out the Colorado FreeSkier team update, in the last pic Scrizz is holding them, he has 'em and brought up that day, they are so sick, and fun on groomers

the rocker on them is TINY! I repeat....TINY. It is hard to even see on the few pairs I've seen.

my 179's have a running length of about 135-140cm. It's a long mellow rocker. Def noticeable. And it is in the tip AND tail.

It's really not noticeable. I've skied them for 2 runs and they were really fun, a bit soft for me but they were too long also since they were 179s rather than the 169s (I was 5'6" in March). However, it is a more west coast oriented ski. I suggest that for park and such you should stick with a less fat ski that is a bit stiffer for the east coast ice, such as the chronic blend.

...no the season's models are named for the next year...Kinda like how in a month it will be 2008.

Sorry, I thought I worked for a ski company and I thought I just designed a ski with the prefix C08, meaning ig is shown in 2008 and starts to sell in 2008. Skis on the shelf right now are 2007 models, C07.

the 07.08 seths have a mini rocker in both the tip and the tail it is the same on both ends, and if you just hod a ski up is has regular camber but if you push them together the tip and tail rise starts 10-20 cm earlier.
