Has anyone ever tried skiing in a skate park?

My buddies did it in a concrete park after a really bad ice storm. It made for some awesome photos, but also a quick demise to an already well worn pair of skis.

We did it with a car tow in.

i've done it a few times. we usually a spine and a down flat box that they have set up. Sometimes it is really fun, but i'd rather just hit my backyard setup

Where is the park? I have been thinking about doing this for awhile. I go by a skate park around Sparta all the time, it has big drop in ramps leading into several rails and it also has a skate halfpipe. The entire thing is covered in this light orange material, I'm not sure what its called but I guess if snow was over it it would be fine. Does the skate park in Ridgewood have a drop in or something like that or would you need a bungee to get speed? There is also a town park I know that has a rebound wall that would make a sick wall ride. Just getting some ideas for next year.

Yeah, I've thought about it but the only good park for it is in my hometown (Windham, ME) and my town are a bunch of faggots and don't open the park unless someone is working to watch over the park and they literally close the park, at certainty hours and months.

yes i have. it was really hard to get speed for the rails and the boxes but we figured out a drop-in and had poles to pull people so it worked out sick

always wanted to at the skate park by my house but the take the damn quarter pipes away in winter so theres no way to get speed

I've done it in Breck ima just say that the jumps are make for skater and you will overshoot the shit out of everything.
