Harvard Trolls

You think because you spend the extra time putting together eloquent phrases and talking very articulately is a substitute for sucking at science? Haha

As far as I know I am not.

Don't want to say where I go because I know other kids on ns who go to my school and I don't want them potentially figuring out who I am.

Not sure what being good or bad at science has to do with any of this.

I admitted doing a practice test.

I couldn't bring myself to do more. Id have had to do shitty on the first attempt in order to study hard.

That was me actually. You should really think about it and if you are correct in being against the USA having the same thing every other developed nation does when it comes to health care.

I went to a homeless shelter thrift shop today to buy ski poles for 5 bucks (got sick ones.) Seeing homeless people lining up for hours for food and me making a horrible joke as we pulled in about getting a free bowl of soup with my poles made me realize what an asshole people can be, myself included. Don't think it was a coincidence when I took a quick peep at the sweaters looking for an ugly wool one for super cold days since I didn't fly to Tahoe with anything warm that there wasn't a single sweater made of wool. Most of the people who rely on that place for thier clothes likely live outdoors and snap up anything woolen immediately.

People who do shitty in school can very well end up lining up for a bowl of soup and your SAT scores aren't going to do much at that point. And employers want people who are bitches/sheep not those who can think for themselves.

I can't get my head around anyone being against us having what they have in every other developed nation in terms of universal healthcare and educated people buying the bullshit argument the richest nation in the world can't afford it. Its educated americans being against it that is sickening not the poor uneducated dumbfucks.

Its not a right its a privilege. What do you say to a doctor "hey fuck you doctor you better treat me or ill slap you". Not a right bud

Oh look, another privileged, upper-middle class boy that has a warped view of the world. Everyone deserves healthcare and doctors become doctors because they WANT TO HELP PEOPLE, YOU FUCKING RETARD.

Asking a kid to give an opinion on something that he's been given his whole life and has never had to deal with will only result in hearing an incredibly stupid answer.

Also dub post FUCK Harvard, oooo it's in new haven, yeah well it could be worse you could live in the shit hole you call Boston. Wave around how Harvard won a football game seven years in a row, (and yes they beat Yale again this year as well) big woopty fucking doo I don't give a fuck about football. Are you kidding me, Harvard has better looking people that Yale, yeah if you like the look of pale busted Asians, than Harvard is the school for you. Yale is know for having attractive people, it's a long running joke that Yale picks it's people based on their looks. then you're going to bring up the tombs and say Yale doesn't pick Bonesmen based on merit, Yale fucking started it. In the end I think Yale won, because this fuck had to ride on a bus for 6 hours to film a video and showed Harvard's true colors. Have you ever talk to anyone from Harvard? O i go to Harvard it's in Boston, maybe you've heard of it?/rant

Not everyone is as mean as you and wants to basically kick those less fortunate than yourself in the nuts and mock them. We all know what side you come down on with regards to social issues.

And I don't think you are an asshole at all for making fun of teenagers who post on here (even though you look dumber than them with the 'your so cool I remember my first beer' shit) but I think you are one for the sneering attitude to those beneath you in society and some sick desire to punish the less fortunate even more.

Correct me if I am wrong but aren't you a late 20 something still in school to be an orthodontist? Lots of people who spend their 20s educating themselves and immersing themselves in debt actually do have a soical conscious and want to help others. Many of these smart, hard working, and high acheiving individuals would be in law school and not med school if it was all about the $$$.

Ivy leagues actually have negative affirmative action (discrimination) against asians. Stanford doesnt and is loaded with them

Whatever man obviously I am insulting people with good grades and shitty SATs and being kind of a dick. I didn't want to sugarcoat it theres no way around it.

If you had brian cells youd refute and argue against my point but I guess you are too dumb to do that.

We live in a competitive society. And the kid who spends 10 hours writing a paper doesn't deserve to be rewarded for having no life which in turn punishes someone who does it in an hour.

In the real world people who work hard but don't work smart are fucking millstones around everyone who works with them's neck. Do you want to hire a plumber who is slow as shit and spends 2 days in your house or one who is done in 2 hours?

All I wanted to say is that grading assignments and putting an emphasis on grades in generall is a scam and a way for dumb people to compete with those smarter than them because they work hard. Its an exercise in bullying children into being submissive little bitches who glue themselves to school work. Its not enough to learn material they need to massage the teachers ego. In reality everything should be pass fail and after the course is finished the studnts should take an aptitude test to demonstrate how much they will actually remember and take away.

But we do the opposite. Everything is graded adn averaged out. If you try hard you can guarantee yourself an A. ANd its because of this attitude that people who work hard but don't work smart and efficiently are deserving of some stupid reward for subjecting themselves to punishment/more work.

They have to. So many fucking applications come out of asia.

I have a friend who just finished some crazy Chem PHD. She said when applying to grad programs she could basically take her pick since she was a minority by being white and female.

And the asian students are complete study machines they have no interests in having lives or doing anything outside of studying.

No its not I was just talking about Asian people who en masse apply to US colleges.

Asia is a big place its sort of hard to generalize about all Asians I was just talking about those who dedicate their lives to attending the best possible US college. If they didn't collectively act like there weren't any suitable universities in Asia and wanted to attend their own I wouldn't have anything to criticize but since so many aspire to attend US ones its a fair comment. (Europeans don't shun their places of higher educations like Asians do.)

I know people who host international students and all of them refuse to have anyone from asia since tehy don't try to assimilate and all they want to do is study. But even Indian people who you'd think are similar are nowhere near as bad.

Sounds to me like you're the one with the chip on your shoulder. Other people are smarter and more accomplish than you so you have to cut them down by saying they work too hard to get there. Yes, the people that grind it out for grades but don't have overall intelligence will get weeded out in the workforce post-college. I'm not fucking brilliant, but I do work hard and that can make up for some of it. And I can guarantee that I'm doing way better than you.

And you're bragging because you put up what a 1400 on the SATs (old score) and went to some mediocre state school that is 'top 50'. You need to work on your bragging rights for things that happened 5+ years ago.

Balling out in DC? Good for you. Because you throwing $300 a night to stay the Ritz Carlton or Park Hyatt that makes you the most successful person graduating from your class? Please… Either you graduated from a terrible class or no one successful accepted your linkedin request.

You're allocating individual income for success. You scalp fucking tickets. You charge another set of middle man fees on top of middle man fees, you detract value from society. In a holistic sense, in no way are you successful because you make $80K per year.

Are you trying to argue that being a hard worker isn't a useful quality in college and careers? Seems like a kinda silly thing to say.

It's not hard to see why. Also, scalping tickets is some real scummy shit to make money from and nothing to be proud of.

Really? It's one of the least scummy things out there. People wouldn't scalp tickets if there weren't a shit ton of people looking to buy them because they were too lazy and poor to purchase one in advance. Also it is possible to buy a ticket in advance and then not be able to go because of something coming up. People do it with free ski tickets all the time but you probably haven't... because you would never do "real scummy shit".

If the only thing you can bring to the table is the name on your degree you might want to reasses your contributions.

For as funny as the video was, Yale has an awesome program to help veterans out. Not sure if Harvard has anything similar going on.
