Hardest marked inbounds run?

blow hole on the backside of the blackcomb glacier is steep as fuck. thats about the only thing that springs to mind.

to me this doesnt seem that steep. or am i thinking about the angle wrong or something? i guess its 36 degrees from vertical not horizontal maybe?

well it was to me when i pussied out of skiing it 5 or 6 years ago, havent really seen it since then.

forgot about silver city, delirium can be pretty gnar but most lines aren't that crazy... Silver City is insane though but never open.

the coffin at whistler it is inbound but not sure if it is marked(by the way i never skied i just always look at it from chair and think damn)

east wall at abasin is pretty steep but crested butte wins i think for colorado love lands run isnt that steep

i take laps on this shit like its my job.. hella fun but not the hardest in telluride by any means

its more to the right of this picture a bit. It could use a bit more snow in that picture too. i seem to remember some promotional video from maybe salomon where they rode this line called "the pocket"? I think it is the middle of this picture.

Yeah I would say silver city is alot harder then delireum. Delireum is just a steep chute at least the line I took when I went with my race team way back.

this but wild west is crazier according to my cousin. ive been in the dive but not the wild west

Silver city is fucking GNARLY. It's hardly ever open, and requires a transceiver to go through an avy gate. It is seriously pretty wild. It's definitely crazier than anything in the dive.
I skied Wild West last year, which was probably one of the gnarlier "marked inbounds" runs I've shredded.
I'd like to ski Silver City, but it is fucking crazy. I consider myself a pretty good skier, but there are some serious consequences in there.

For what it's worth, Delerium Dive is the steepest inbounds marked trail. Or that's what they say anyway. And Silver City is next to it, and steeper.
I don't think they want to say Silver City is because I don't think they want mooks skiing that shit and breakin themselves off just to say they've skied the "steepest" where the Dive is pretty mellow if you want it to be.

theres a chute on blackcomb peak, not out of bounds it faces towards 7th heaven. there was a black and white photo of someone skiing it in powder mag a few months back, it looked crazy. anyone kno wat im talkin bout?

Finally PICTURES! Keep the pictures of vids up, I haven't been to many places so I'd like to see what you guys are talking about rather than hearing names.
For those that said Blowhole on Blackcomb and Coffin under the Peak Chair on Whistler. No, those are nothing. The cofin is a narrow straightliner, scary but not a big deal, the blowhole can get steep depending on weather but it doesnt compare to anything on the mountain.
In terms of steep on Blackcomb, the Chainsaw ridge has some pretty knarly cliffs and chutes with cornice drop ins. Along the right of the pichttp://http://radkatie.com/Ski_Season_2004/Couloir_Extreme.jpg

and on whistler, the cirque has a sketchy line at 1:35 in this vidhttp://http://vimeo.com/17466777
and you can see it in this pic to the right but before the big cliff, it's lacking a little snow thoughhttp://http://www.chezhoter.com/cirquetop.jpg

I'm not saying those are the hardest on whistler and blackcomb, but they are lift accessible and pretty high level

I want to add that the bowls on Blackcomb that can be accessed from Spanky's Ladder have some really intense lines around then, not within the bowl itself but in the area.

of what i skied... some lines on palmyra peak at telluride are pretty gnar, peak chair on whis skier's left (i think) over the side where air jordan and waterfall are, also leads into VD chutes so its a lot of vert all inbounds.

The Big Couloir at big sky is a pretty hard run, not too long and only the first half is steep and skinny, but really fun!

And if you think high rustler is the only steep thing in utah you need to fucking actually ski a resort, alta is full of steep shit.

spruce cliffs sucka (as far as maine goes)

and its not technically inbounds anymore but it is thoroughly ski-able on a pow day with a solid base for the season

There is lots of cool shit to ski here in Whistler, but its all in how you ski it. There are spots that are easy as pie one way and crazy to even attempt in sketch conditions.
Air Jordan is one on Whistler where we see people bust themselves up on pow days. I saw someone said head wall. It is more fun than hard, but I guess in moguly tracked out conditions it could make your ball hair stand on end.
I vote for one of the lines off chainsaw ridge to take it here in Whis for sure.

Marhanken's chute at Alpine Meadows is pretty damn tough... and it's marked on the patrol map if that counts. It's a part of Keyhole (mentioned in that big long post from SKI magazine...lol).

It's pretty much a straight shot for 300 vertical feet with cliffs on both sides that gets down to about 5 feet for almost the entire length of it. Also, there's a mild turn in it and so you can't see the exit when you start. And a nasty traverse line forms underneath it ALWAYS, so coming out of it means a whole lot of WUBUDUDUBUDUDBDUBUB for your legs to deal with.

pinball is probably the gnarliest part of spanky's ladder that i've hit, but i'm sure there are a lot harder and i don't know the area super well. the rock in the middle gets pretty big in low snow conditions and makes it kinda sketchy, but at least in my opinion it still lies more in the domain of fun than scary.

theyre just gonna build a quarter pipe at the top of carinthia and have a jet engine pull you in and then ripcord is the landing

Not the best photo but, Ski through narrow crevasse to mandatory air to narrow corridor between crevasses, to air, to always untracked pow bowl in Saas Fee. Just gotta know where to look.
