Happy Dayz Editing- weird

I was just watching happy dayz and i noticed that every single time they introduce a new skier, they have them in a box and they're showin shots of them hiking or doin stuff or whatever. well every time they put in this effect and it makes the picture kinda like, red and blue colors and the colors flash in and out. What is this effect called?

OH MY GOD! IVE NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE! have you seen any ski or snowboard film that uses film besides happy days? THE FILM IS ON FIRE! AHHH!

they use digital cameras not 16mm's but it could be that they used a 16mm and overexposed it on purpose.

Hey farva, whats that resturaunt you like with all the goofy shit on the walls and the mossarlla sticks?....... Shenanigans, your talkin about shenanigans right?

^^^ alright, you're fucking stupid. it's obvious to a trained eye that it is 16mm. not to mention it IS and we all know it.

you're all so worthless

Actually, most of those shots are digi, and in EVERY case in Happy Dayz intros, its an effect added in the editing process. The only colors naturally generated from overexposing film are shades of orange/red/yellow. Blue? Green? No. Could any color of 'film burn' naturally occur ove a black and white shot? Hell no! Watch more closely kids!

get focus, you wont question the editing, very sick movie

fuckin christ happy dayz is 16 mil. it says right on the cover. 'a 16mm film by johnny decesare' but either way the shots end up being in the same format during the final editing process using the same program regardless if they are digi or real film. 16 mil is just way sharper.

i think i think i like it like thata
