I'm trying handdrag 180, I lean back a little, pop, put my hand on the snow while turning my shoulder but I keep fallin on my the side of my body... Any tips to help me gettin back in the right position to land ??? Thank you and sorry for my english, I'm workin on it..

just make sure not to over commit, just barly touch the ground, and then lean into it more when you get comfy with it, i havent tryed one, but i would assume that that would be the case. also try the trick tip cult if you dont find anything else here.

on a side note, i your name pig_pen because of out cold? if so, then +k for being one of my fav. movies!

thx for the tip... I didn't know about trick tips cult...

And yes, pig pen is because of out cold... My friends gave that nick to me right after we watched that movie first time... I still don't know why but I like to use it...

when i do them i actually sit on the back of my skis. lean right down and then pop and kick my feet out in front of me. join the "ask turpin" cult. there is a pretty good tutorial in there if i remember correctly.

ok man, to get to the trick tip cult, just under were i am writing this, it will say skate/ skate 2 clut and will have a website link underneath that. click on that link. then, at near the top of the page, it will say "top open cults" or something. click on that and you will see "trick tip cult." jion it and ask your questions there!

I just learned them this weekend, I like to make a big backseat carve to the left, pop off the middle of the knoll/roller, look back at my left hand, drag my left hand on the ground, and kick my legs out. If you do that correctly, your legs will come down and you will land switch. Hope this helps and good luck, they are fun, especially on a pow day!

i think also make sure when you're learning that you're doing it on a feature thats good for it, some short people can hand drag 180 on basically flat ground, but im big and tall, and I need some help from the terrain to get it right.

I'm trying it from the flat of a 26 feet jump to its landing which is pretty steep, I'm feeling good trying it there... Once I get it I think I'll try it on more flat surfaces...

the way i do it is when you drag your hand around 90 slap your hand down hard and your feet should get underneath you. works for me but everyones different

i think your main problem is probably not getting enough speed or getting too much speed, working on little 5 foot lips is a good start, then build it up on bigger knols.
