Hand Wax?

I always get my skis waxed at a shop and i know theres like hand wax that you can just rub on...do you just rub it on and how well does it work?

that will work for about half a day. If you want to do it yourself buy a waxing iron and some hot wax. that lasts a lot longer and works better. thats all they do at the shop is hot wax

hot wax is better. buy an iron wax scraper and scotchbright pad, and you will save money and have a wax job that lasts 5 times as long!

if you're talkin about paste wax, then its nice for wet/sticky snow days. but you gotta put it on like 3 or 4 times in one day. or if you don't have time to get it waxed or hot wax it yourself then it's pretty tight.
