Hand drag cork 3 and frontflips

hand drags are the most over thought trick there so easy.front flips can be sketch in the park but once you got them there easy

cork 3s are whack

First reply is the truth, I snowboard and the 3rd time I ever ski'd ( I traded with my buddy) I was throwing hand drag 3's off a jump landing on the hip of the landing /endclaim.

the cork 3 is fn weird

only do them when i get spooked or something on takeoff

fronts are easy

and easy to misjudge
until you get a feel

You should learn backs > fronts > lincolns > rodeos > flats

funny cause i just posted the same question about hand drags today... i found this video that might help...

I agree but I think flats should be learnt before rodeos because they sort of evolve into rodeos

Awesome! I too want to get that hand drag down, i have been trying to practice a little with my back yard set up, but you should go try it at any trampoline gym you've got!

Hand drag cork 3s are beyond easy. I basically just pictured it in my mind and threw it first try and stomped. Front flips are the most scary trick for me. They aren't too hard. They just scare me.

frontflips are easy but you cant see anything but if you land on your back tips your shins probably wont let you try again

flats are hard because you have to go from your back to your stomach to turn around and spot

very easy to lay on your back and get stuck ----> lose aerial awareness

hand drag 3s:

1. find a roller type feature, stepover jump landings work well. having a roller that will pop you UP makes it a lot easier. the steeper the roller the better. I learned them on a spine type feature.

2. GO FAST. Go fast enough to send you like half way down the landing and then go faster. having more speed will give you more time to kick your feet under you. worst case you send it to flat or over rotate to 5. both options are fine.

3. Pop before the top of the roller. you wand your hands to be dragging at the top of the roller. if you pop too late you will miss your hand drag and crash.

4. When you pop reach for the snow near the tails of your skis while kicking you feet up parallel/above your head. this is the most key part of the trick. the harder you kick your feet up, the easier it is to kick them back under you. you might consider ditching your poles because grabbing some snow is key and poles can get in the way.

5. Do a backscratcher. you need to get your tips away from the snow so you don't catch them and throw off your rotation.

6. At this point you will be at 180 and fully corked out with your handing dragging the snow above your head. for the second part of the rotation, pull your hand back while kicking your knees through to get back on axis. then stomp it out.

Frontflips:

1. Do a backflip instead. No one actually likes doing frontflips.

wtf

speak for yourself i love all types of fronts from tuck huckss to laying out superman shit

i love doing somersaults over rollers

i love doing front flips off up boxes

for the handdrag cork 3 just approach the jump from the side you spin (i spin left so i approach from the left heading towards the right side of the jump at an angle) Then sit back on your skis and drag your inside hand as you carve the direction youll spin (left hand for me). When you reach the lip just throw your outside hand over your head and towards the other side of the jump and move your head around to bring you through the trick, you can learn it off really small jumps so you dont have to worry too much. Also bring more speed than you think you need, you arent popping at all and the hand drag takes a lot of your speed out. As for front flip I would suggest trying backflip first if you arent familiar with inverts, just to get the feeling of being upside down. Fronts are alittle wacky since you are going against the direction of takeoff (which kicks you back naturally) But as with any trick if you want to try it you just have to commit
