Hand Drag 3s

I've been having trouble with this trick for a while. Whenever I go to throw one, I end up doing a hand drag regular 3 and it just feels wrong. Any tips on how to make it more corked?

Im guessing your dropping your head more to the side than back and over your shoulder; drop your head back and over your shoulder, I struggled with the problem for a few weeks when I first learned em

if you spin right like I do drag your right hand behind you then when your tails of your skis are at the lip of the jump reach your right hand over and grab the jump and imagine you are trying to put your skis against a wall and then just keep it spinning I dont think it would have been too hard to find an existing thread on this

You probably need a steeper takeoff. Try finding a spine with a long landing or the knuckle of a really serious step up. Then work on reaching for the drag with both hands and really grabbing into the snow. Finally, the scariest part of legit hand drags - go twice as fast as you're going now. Speed is the key.

If your learning them to throw off cliffs, a way you can do it is finding a steep drop off (like a cliff, but preferably no exposed rocks) that is about 5 feet. Then you start by doing low speed, really pressed out butters off of that (the kind where you plant both hands on the ground). Keep doing those, and each time get less buttery and go in faster. You'll be able to do them in no time. I'm sorry if this explanation made no sense at all.
