Hand drag 180

yeah man try to find something with alot of lip cuz they're easy to learn on those. Then jump up, kick ur feet out a little bit and tighten all the muscles in ur body then bring ur legs back in and under you. Thats basically it. Get to it

go into them sitting on the back of your skiis in a crouch, let the lip pop you and lean sideways just before the lip. drag your hand and shift your weight back torwards your landing

get real low coming into it, pop alot(i know it sounds contradictory). As you pop lean over to whatever side your spinning an plant your hand. Continue looking forward as you come over the roll-over of the landing/roller youre hitting and get your skis as high as you can. Once youre comepletely in the air and no longer dragging you hand look back up hill and do youre best to shifty in that last bit of rotation.

...ride away like nothing happened.

just a question: If you are really sponsored by volkl, tecnica, smith, etc., why do you need tips from random unsponsored skiers online to be doing a fairly basic trick?!

you should just stay in your hole and never come out.

but just commit to it. you pretty much naturally do a 180 when you hang drag

because newschoolers.com is the source of all knowledge, and chances are someone knows how to do this fairly basic trick well.

and just because you're spanzorsed it doesn't really mean you're the shit, some companys will hook up anybody wtih a half deacent edit. not saying this guy isn't any good, just that you shouldn't assume all sponsored riders really kill it hard

i see what you mean and i agree that not all kids with sponsors are dirrty. just sayin, this is a prettty easy trick and if this kid really is sponsored by major, mainstream sponsors like smith and volkl, chances are if he can't do a handdrag someone in his crew should be able to teach him...who knows, doesn't really matter at all

ya...i know of a kid sponsored by one of those companies who wouldn't have a chance in hell of making a hand drag look half deacent. if a company sends you 1 pair of goggs, remember that means you're sponsored.

no i know what your sayin man ive been taught by people i ski with but i mean its never really worked out for me. I just been startin to try them lately and i almost have them. I just wanted to hear all of your opinions on how to do them because one kid that i ski with when he explains it he sounds really rong. But i just wanted to hear what you guys had to say.
