Halo sizing (again?)

What is up,

I know loads of people have talked about this before but I need to ask anyway.

I'm small, 5'8" 140lb. For the most part my days consist of butters, presses, rails/boxes, general sillynes and small jumps. Basically pure jib, nothing big, no huge booters. I'm not too bothered about all mountain performance (although I don't want something absolutely terrible obv).

Normally I'd buy whichever ski I was looking at at the nearest to 170 they make and that always feels perfect. I had 161 suspects once, which looked f**king stoopid but didn't feel too bad.

So, question is, given my size and requirements, would the 170 Halos still feel stupidly short?

I have a feeling everyone will tell me to get the 176 but I'd like to hear from people who may have ridden the 170s as well.

Thanks guys

170 would be way to small, i would get 176, if not 182(if you decide to jump more)

since they are rockered tip and tail they will feel much shorter my jj's are a 185 but only contact 140 cm or so. so really you should size up. they will be more stable at speed and once you get used to skiing on them you really wont want to go back. also the longer the ski the softer it will feel since you will have more leverage on them
