Halo mounting

I've heard different things about the mounting point like center being back because of the rocker, could any one clarify the mounting point for center on the halo

center is center, its usually based on the running length of the ski (there's other types, but this is commonly the one used), so it's always gonna be the running length, divided by 2

now the halos have more rise in the front than the back, and it starts earlier, so when you mount center there is more ski contacting the snow behind you than infront, that's the only downside of the halo it makes for a strange riding position

that being said, mine are centered and i love them

Didn't mount mine center because the ski isn't completely symmetrical plus I sometimes ski outside the park so I wanted easier carving abilities.

Didn't mount them recommended (2.5) because I felt it was too far back and wanted a more symmetrical feel when riding switch, rails, spinning, etc.

Have em at 1.5 back and it works great.

Mine are at true centre and I love them there. I've probably only skied 20% park with them so far too. I wouldn't change the mount if I could, unlike on my JJs. Turning in to possibly my favourite ski of all time.

Double post sorry.. The only time I wouldn't go centre is if you have a ski that is small for your size. Halos ski short and mounting centre makes them ski shorter. I'm 173-4cm tall and I have the 176. For some days I wish I had the 182.
