I'm sure many people know what Halo is all about but is there any people who particularly love the game and its universe ? I use to play Halo 3 but when Halo Reach came out I stopped, perhaps because I grew up a little. But I still love the game etc enven though I don't play it very often anymore.

Well here's the trailer for those who've just arrived:

And here's some more info about the game: http://halo.xbox.com/en-us/games/halo4/Overview

I am excited. Very excited. People keep hating on the halo series, but it is just a classic. I love the whole storyline, throughout the series. i don't get where it is going to go from here though...

Ive never had as much fun playing a videogame as i have playing halo1 system linked with friends, or halo 2 online

probably because they ran out of $$$$$$$ and knew that if they put out another game preteens will throw $90 of their parents money at them no matter what

halo 3 was the first one i played in depth, and the first multiplayer halo i played. literally played it for days, got nearly all the achievements and loved it to bits. when reach came out my interest waned and i never got it until like two months ago. tbh i really like it, but it will never be as epic as Halo 3, at least not to me, since i spent so many hours on it, playing with friends and making new friends.

i'm still pretty stoked for halo 4, mainly cos the BR is back. will be good to see how it goes without bungie behind it too

ex semi pro in halo 2 / 3 . Strafinggg for all ya'll niggaz who wanna get tossed around . MLG 50 slayer 50 dubz 50 snipers 50

Halo forever. played all the games (- ODST), read most of the novels, etc. Anniversary was such a huge treat for me because up until it's release i was still loving Halo CE for the PC. Halo was one of the first FPS' to do away with being able to carry 10 weapons at a time, really revolutionized the genre. Reach is imo, the best, only flaw being a lack of Masterchief, and i'm glad 343 is making Halo 4, bringing back the chief, adding new enemies, changing the gameplay, etc. this and Crysis are really the only FPS' that are pushing the graphics these days, Reach is fucking beautiful. it gets a lot of haters but Halo 3 is still the best-selling game of all time.

i'm extremely stoked to see what they do with the upcoming live-action webisodes and i can't wait to play Halo 4.

most people who are with 343 industries are from bungie....but there are a lot of new people to so there will be some great new additions.

Halo 4 'Infinity' looks to redefine the multiplayer experience

Halo 4[/i] is introducing a groundbreaking new multiplayer offering that Microsoft and 343 Industries is promising will "innovate and redefine" the way people think about storytelling and multiplayer experiences.

Remember back in April when Microsoft registered domain names for "Halo Infinity[/i]"? Microsoft and 343 Industries yesterday revealed Halo Infinity Multiplayer[/i], the new take on Halo[/i]'s rich multiplayer experience. Judging from the developer's description, it appears as if 343 Industries is trying to integrate the overall fiction of the Halo [/i]universe into the multiplayer portion of the game, rather than having multiplayer be a completely separate experience as it had been in previous games in the franchise.

In doing so, the hub of the Halo 4[/i] multiplayer experience is the UNSC Infinity[/i] - the largest starship in thh UNSC fleet. This will serve as the center of your Spartan career - the place where you'll build your custom Spartan-IV supersoldier, and progress your multiplayer career across all Halo 4[/i]competitive and cooperative game modes.

"Surrounded by the sights, sounds and crew of the biggest vessel in the UNSC fleet, your multiplayer experience will be embedded in the fiction of Halo[/i] like never before, where your progress and game choices affect your appearance, arsenal, and role on the battlefield," Microsoft and 343 explained.

Among the modes is the recently announced Spartan Ops co-op campaign, a series of missions and cinematics delivered on a weekly basis that will focus on the various Infinity crew members and a new team of Spartans called Majestic Squad. Playable in single-player or cooperatively, players will explore the corners of Requiem in these objective-based missions, and help uncover the secrets of the mysterious Forerunner world.

"A massive-scale adventure that builds off the “Halo 4” story, access to Spartan Ops is included with “Halo 4” at no additional charge – effectively delivering two campaign experiences in one game," Microsoft promised.

Halo 4[/i]'s competitive multiplayer modes will be known as War Games, and will take place on the combat deck of the UNSC Infinity[/i]. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a bit longer for Microsoft to reveal any details on all of the modes being offered in Halo 4[/i]. Maybe E3?

You can also expect more freedom when it comes to player customization. A new progression system and in-depth customization allows you to shape your soldier's stats to fit your individual playstyle.

"The Halo 4[/i] player progression system goes beyond simple aesthetic upgrades, encouraging players to invest time and effort to create a Spartan that looks and plays the way they want," Microsoft explained. "Players can earn and activate combat enhancements called 'Specializations' based on the style of play they engage in, from stealth to all-out assault, and everything in between."

It definitely looks like some big changes are headed our way with Halo 4[/i]. If done right, it can be a welcomed change for a franchise that needed a breath of fresh air. Hopefully, 343 Industries can deliver on all that is promised. In addition to all of these modes, the Halo 4[/i] Limited Edition became available for pre-order yesterday. Find out more about what that entails here.

It's got something really artistic that many games, actually most of the games don't have. Over the fact that the story is great, the graphics, the MUSIC, everything is accurately thought and rethought for our pleasure and no for the money (don't get me wrong, everybody needs the money) but unlike COD series where nothing really changes, Halo is just mind blowing !
