Halo 3

agreed, it would have been worth it if I didnt buy any of the maps but I already had all the maps that it came with and there was nothing new or tight about it.
 
I am sorry but I need to politely disagree sir. Halo 3 does not PWN. Compared to Halo: Combat Evolved I find it quite boring.
 
I accept your polite disagreement sir, however I disagree with said disagreement. Although Halo 1 was the best it lacked xbox live and many of the weapons we now love. Lets not talk about Halo 2.

Halo 3 is tight, I wish they would bring back hang um high and the pistol in certain game types. It would also be really tight if they made a down-loadable map editor that you could do on the computer, forge is gay.
 
My favorite weapon of the ENTIRE halo series is the original pistol, and the original shotgun. The SMG, EEEEWWWW, the Brute weapons, EEEWWWW, the Brutes? WHERE THE FUCK DID THEY COME FROM?! Favorite baddie of all time in the Halo series, either the Elites or the Hunters. Now Elites are our allies and the Hunters are almost never seen? WTF?!
 
didnt play the campaign that much in 2 and 3 but the hunters are frightening in ODST because your character is such a pussy. Seam like you could use each weapon in 1 to kill someone. The neadler sucked but in 3 some weapons just are fucking worthless, the pistol, the spiker. I loved in one how the plasma rifle would slow down peoples movements I could dominate with that, The powerups were way better in 1 too...

I am going to have a halo 1 session tonight time to find the old xbox.
 
Me and friends used to system link Halo 1 all the time on Sidewinder Capture the Flag. A three capture limit would take us 3 or 4 hours.
 
I am about to blow your mind try this.

Turn shields to 0, capture the flag 3 to win, hang em high, snipers. Make sure you have the pistol on. Invis is key. Use to play for a legit 3 hour games once everyone understands what is going on. 250 kill games.

Make sure you have own flag at home to score. Blue base is way easier to be at so put better players at red base. Fucking best game type ever.
 
i gotta disagree with two points. one i think halo 3 is far and away the best game in the series. but i dont play the campain, only multiplayer. and two, the brute shot in 3 is the sickest gun in the game! its gnarly and if youre good at it you can use it all over the place
 
It sucks most of the time though. I do use it but only on a few places and only when something better isnt around. Getting killed by it sucks though because the whole time your like "what the fuck is going on"
 
haha no yeah thats what im saying. its gnarly cause its a hail of explosions that kills the dude, and its hard to use (in a really effective way anywhere) but if youre good at it you can use it really well all over the place. seriously is probably my favorite weapon. besides like the shotgun of course

firefight is so fun

but...
halo 1 is deffinitly the best halo of the series. the campaign was so epic it could not be repeated
 
yeah well i dont necessarily disagree. ive never really played the campaigns too much. but i got odst cause i needed halo 3 for multiplayer anyway (lost my disc) and it comes with all the maps. and the ODST campaign was fun. and so is firefight. its just that i feel like id rarely play firefight instead of zombies on COD
 
Capture the Flag on Hang 'Em High in GENERAL was nuts.

Do melee matches on Hang 'Em High. Only melees, everyone has a Plasma Pistol, no shield, and half life. So epic.
 
halo 3 is the greatest. by far. and odst is basically halo 3 but with that retarded campaign. firefight is pretty legit
 
here is my oppinion on the halo series

Halo: Inovative in story telling and gameplay.

Halo 2: The best multiplayer game of ALL time, i don't care what you said but that game had the best maps, they best weapons(they contrast eachother), and it was revolutionary for the time. I think the campaign was my favorite out of the series, the feel of it and the story was so EPIC! I think people finish the game and the ending wasn't what they were looking for and they bashed the campaign.

Halo 3: Fun multiplayer, innovative for community input, Bungie did a good job at listening to there fans and added more. This is all around a fun game.

Halo 3 ODST: I don't know what to say really, it is a different take on the story but it isn't innovative. Firefight is fun, it is a good twist to survival mode in FPS

I am looking forward to reach
 
yeah i just cant stand starting with the SMG. one of the things i like the most about halo 3 is you start with an assault rifle which is a great all around gun
 
you should be able to add xbox live friends frineds from your computer i hate typing in ppls names using the controller
