Halifax?

I'm heading to Dalhousie University in Halifax in September, and i was wondering what the park skiing scene is like in and around halifax. Can anyone tell me what hills are good and where i can find the best park? cheers

pics of good urban spots in Hali would also be appreciated

Not a great deal of help, but there are some members you can try and link with maybe. My buddy's brother went there for undergrad and said the skiing was pretty low key. Got out to Wentworth every once in a while but that it was nothing to write home about.

If all else fails, you could head to Upper Northwest Halifax...

Hey man I'm from Halifax. There is a small mountain with a fun terrain park roughly an hour and a half away. I also go to Dalhousie and work at the ski hill. It is called Wentworth. pm me if you have any questions about dal or wentworth.

I thought you meant Halifax uk. There is such a good dry slope there but I guess that does not help you much.

Old thread but decided to post that I'm also going to dal this year and would be down to ski in the area if anything is actually good
