My home mountain is building a pipe this year. It has been several years since they had one before and I never really hit it. The only times I have been in a pipe it has been terrifying. Icy and uncomfortable. Its taking up too much space where all kinds of rails should be. Basically Im not sure I am exactly excited for it.

What do the NSers think of pipes is what I want to know I guess.
 
Only time I have had fun in them is in the spring with really soft snow but I still don't do much in them
 
I LOVE PIPE IT'S THE GREATEST.

Try and get a feel for it before you do anything "difficult." They can feel odd underfoot, but once you learn the pipe, it;s smooth sailing.
