I search barred it and didnt really find what i was looking for for all you people who give a huge shit about that...

But is the vaccination actually bad or is it just some bullshit people are making up on the internet saying it kills you and the vaccine itself has a virus in it. Is it a good idea to get or not? Im thinking no just i dont think ill die from it an dont want to wait 3 hours to get it. Also is swine flu itself overrated? Im not saying it is. But is it actually that bad. Cause everyones saying people are dying eveywhere then again some people say its fine.

 
swine flue itself right now is like a common flue but it has aspects to make it worse in the future because it can mutate fast
 
Swine Flu is pretty much the same as normal flu, it just has the potential to go bad at a much faster rate. I had it, I'm fine. If you have underlying health problems (asthma and heart) then the vaccine is probably something you should get.
 
Vaccines carry a deactivated version of the virus, so you're immune system can create the antibodies to destroy the real virus without you getting sick.
 
I got the vaccine last Thursday, tonight I'm sitting here awake with a fever of 102 and swine flu... HOWEVER: My doctor said that the vaccine didn't give it to me, it actually will make my symptoms less than the full blown virus. Trust me, you do not want this shit, get vaccinated, eat right, drink a lot of water and get you Vitamin C and rest. It's pretty awful.
 
All vaccines contain virus RNA material. It triggers your immune system intro producing antibodies to fight off the actual virus itself should you come in contact. Once you're immune those memory antibodies stay with you forever. Problem is, the common flu mutates every season.

I got the vaccine 2 days ago and I'm fine, a little feverish but fine.

Most of the people getting seriously sick with it are young healthy females. Healthy young males being the second largest group effected. The last death in Canada was a perfectly healthy 13 year old boy.

H1N1 is already confirmed in Whistler. Get the shot.

 
Do some research. I know people who have never been vaccinated that are far healthier than I am.

Some vaccines contain all kinds of things. Like thiomersal, a mercury based preservative in many vaccines, linked to the rise in autism.

Even some of the "important vaccines". Some diseases were already heavily declining do to better sanitation and knowledge, before the vaccines were given.

First we were all going to die of mad cow, then bird flue, now swine flu. Im sure im forgetting many more.

I'm not worried about it. People die from the regular flu.

Don't get something injected into your body just because the media has over hyped it and pushed everyone into a panic.

There is also much debate on it's effectiveness

If you've researched it go and still want it go for it. I personally am not getting it. I haven't gotten the flu vaccine ever either.

The human body is easily equiped to fight the flu without a vaccine as long as you live a healthy life style. If you have a suppressed imune system then sure go for it get vaccinated.

im staryting to get sick right now, dont thinks its swine cause i feel fine jsut have a sore throat from not wearing a jacket, so even if i do have it if i get the shot it wont take effect for 7 days after. i dont think im gonna get the shot.

thanks for the advice, but this shit is so confusing everyone has a different opinion.
 
There's tons of misinformation going on in this thread. (I'll do my best not to contribute more of it)

First of all, the argument that thimerosal causes autism in children has been proven false (go read medical journals, there are many studies to back this up). Additionally, the nasal version (most commonly given to children) does not contain thimerosal.

To the kid that got the vaccine a few days ago, but now has the flu. That sucks. However, it takes awhile to build up antibodies to fight the virus after getting the shot and it sounds like by the time you got the shot it was too late.

Its kinda like a preference i think because if you get it then your vaccinated but its not exactly safe, so if you get it you could be at risk or you could go without it and still be at risk.
 
Swine flu is over rated. I'm not saying that it isn't bad, but compared to other viruses and diseases, it's nothing. It's all media propaganda. We only care about swine because it affects us, the rich part of the World. Malaria kills more people in one day than what swine flu has killed in it's entire existence. And most of those deaths occur in poor areas, like Africa, so no one who has enough money to do something about it gives enough of a shit about Malaria because they're not going to get it. But as soon as a little thing like Swine comes around, people start to shit their pants and freak out. People really need to start opening their eyes as to what's going on throughout the whole World, what's happening to EVERYONE on our planet, and not just the few of us who are lucky enough to live where we live, in the rich part of the world.

I know a few kids who had the swine flu. Not bad at all. Over it very quickly.

Not a big deal.

And on the issue of thimerasol not causing autism.

Pharma is a billion/trillion dollar industry.

But of course, there support and funding of everything from doctors to studies couldn't affect anything.

And other than thimerasol there are many awful thing's in these vaccines and others.

Also the lack of effectiveness. The only way your ever going to catch some diseases these days is actually through the vaccine for it.

There effectiveness is in question. But were told we need them. Look at the list of all the vaccines your getting throughout your life these days.

Check out the people who have never been vaccinated and how much healthier they are than you.

How do you explain away the rapid rise in autism. Are you going to take the path of, of we didn't know about autism before so we assumed they had something else i the past for your approach?

The kids that were completely healthy hitting all their milestones till they got vaccinated, then spiked a fever and regressed into severe autism.

But of course, the studies in the medical journals still prove that theirs no way that that could have cause it.

But of course that's all misinformation. Money doesn't control anything.

 
So where, or who, is your source for this information? Jenny McCarthy? Are you aware that there is also a fairly stonr link between autism and genetics? Also, there are many other things a pregnant mother can be exposed to in the environment itself that could be a possilbe cause. There has never been any proven theory that would suggest vaccines as the root cause. Remember that the causes of autism are still in progress, so don't confuse hypothesis/theories with being actual fact. In the medical field that are many anomalies that can't be explained (i.e. person who has a perfect healthy lifestyle involving no alcohol, drugs, tobacco and a good diet randomly getting cancer). People always fear what they don't understand and are quick to find a scapegoat.
