ok from a few differnt people i have heard differnt responces about the 2 piece-ness of this one piece. Jibij said that the jacket would be too short and not too functoinal to wear with other ski pants but would work as like a street coat but its too short for using with other ski pants. Helly hansen said that the coat is perfectly fine length to with another pair of paints and the length isnt that short. Could helly just be trying to sell me on it? I have asked a few people and they say it will and other say it wont work. Any input is appreciated.
 
i'd say HH are trying to sell you on it..anything to make it sound versatile and make a sale..

The manufacturer probably wont tell you if their product has limitations. Plus Jibij are one of the more trustworthy, straightforward retailers
 
personally have u done it? took the jacket and another pair of paints and susceffuly skied and stayed warm.dry?
 
Since your getting differing opinions, it's probably all about preferance. Some people think it's to short because they like baggy/long jackets, some people don't mind it. Your going to have to see it in person to make a decision of your own, I'd suggest buying it, trying it on, and returning it if you don't like it.
 
old bump and your wrong, i can wear mine fine without the pants attatched and mine is only a L. but the pants on the other hand...are fucking huge! like size 50 waist...
