Guys with Big Feet! Whats the best boot?

Hey guys,

I know there has to be some people out there who have big feet or are just overall big! I know I am. Im 6'2' 220 lbs and My feet are about 12.5 to a 13. Right now I have some Nordica boots that are pretty good but they aren't really freestyle boots. They're heavy and toe bang blows. However they are great boots, warm and pretty comfortable. They lock my foot in great and I can bomb with great control. My problem is that I really like Salomon boots like the SPK pro that have that anti toe bang rubber piece in the toe. Salomon stops making boots a size before mine...so im bummed and looking for a good, light, solid boot that wont break my toes when I hit bigger kickers or drops in powder runs. Im an experienced skier. I ride Line Prophet 100's for taking it off the trail and on fluffier days and for park and just all around ripping I ride Armada AR7's. Am I completely off in thinking that its the boot thats my problem or should I just try harder not to land back seat? thanks for the help guys!

 
So you're just having toe bang problems?

A freestyle boot won't fix it. A better fitting boot will though.

I know Head makes larger boots, same with Salomon.

You'd probably want something a bit stiffer too
 
well actually a freestyle boot could help.but yeah the best boot is the one that fits the best
 
expensive, but not that much more than other boots, and fully custom - also lifetime warranty, so you essentially only buy them once, which is awesome. Dale boots may very well be my next boot.

I ride Full Tilts, I'm a size 12. But my feet are also skinny. If your feet are wide, they won't work for you. I would look into it though! They are the best boots out as far as I'm concerned. 3 buckle, simple design all the way.
 
take a look at full tults buy them on there website and then make 5 threads to complain about how they dont fit. lol or just go to a bootfitter thats the best word i have
 
full tilt makes wide boots do they not? i swear i tried on a friend's pair once. thinking about a pair of the wides as my next boots.
 
So a size 12.5/13 shoe? So that mean youd prolly be a 29 shell in a ski boot, which SPKs do come in. Peep a boot fitter and REMEMBER, a boot shouldnt feel like a slipper in the store, it should be tight! Esp with your yetiness, you will quickly pack the shit out of a boot!
