I raced with his son Yuta. Pretty amazing that his dad is now going to attempt to summit at 80. Yuichiro is a true badass. I told Yuta to make sure his dad didn't try to smuggle his skis along this time for another attempt.

I had heard he skied it with a parachute, but I was unaware of how much snowplow, a bail, and Space lasers were a part of it.
