Dustin. Active member Jun 4, 2015 #2 You should go watch the one of the dude at Chamonix who fell into a deep one off of Glacier des Rognons. Anyone can just stroll out onto the glaciers there, not that uncommon. Pretty cool video, check it out!

snomaster Active member Jun 5, 2015 #4 beware of the 'schrund. aka bergschrund - a crevasse that forms where a moving glacier ice separates from the stagnant ice above. It was barely covered by new snow. You can tell it was a bad spot to wait and then make a poor hop turn.
