Gus is going to post some cringy picture on his IG soon to announce that he is retiring from freeskiing. I'll give him one more winter on the comp circut before he dips out and goes full Simon Dumont... aka non existent in our sport.
 
Lol some of Gus' lines were actually funny. I'll always respect him as a skier and respect the success he's had outside of skiing good for him

We will continue his MTV career, along with all those other wash up attention seekers. Easy money though so fuck it why not
 
Honestly good for Gus finding a way to supplement his income with sources other than skiing. I respect what hes doing as well he brings a positive public light to skiing. Sure he may not be underground or part of the "Core" of skiing but he certainly draws attention to the sport, ultimately drawing money into the industry, allowing people like us who want to be "Core" to exist. This is not in response to anything I just thought this would be a good place to say this, forgive me if I sound like a broken record lol.

i agree with everything you said except for the core part, that dude is definitely part of the core of skiing-- i think people forget that he's literally one of the best park skiers out there (check his instabanger if you need a reminder). i know what you meant by that but "not part of the core" isn't the right way to put it, is what im saying

yeah his media stuff is a little out there for my taste but he's not hurting anyone!
