Yes it is another Russian Troll. Also as TRVP pointed out (and quoted below) I did use the wrong term. These are trolls, not bots (the bots they are using to spread and boost messages and hashtags) - hence the Boris-in-a-Kelly suit meme I put up. Literally dudes sitting in a troll farm in Russia typing this shit.
That is exactly the point. They are doing whatever they can to seem American.

"Their favorite topics were guns, immigrants and homosexuality," Savchuk said. "The kind of topics that could invoke blind and negative emotions."
One minute, he said, "you needed to be a redneck from Kentucky and then later you had to be some kind of white dude from Minnesota. ... And then in 15 minutes, you need to be from New York, writing something in black slang."
This is literally the point.
I'll dispense with even discussing the "Even if you buy into "Russian propaganda" quote. Every social media platform & Intelligence Agency in the western world has already confirmed it. Note I don't mention anything on Trump here. There is no question that Russia is using propaganda thru social media in Western countries and I'm just going to assume we are all literate enough and intelligent enough to not pretend there is any debate there.
So the question is - why are state sponsored trolls attacking a homosexual US Olympian in a fringe sport? Umm...It makes plenty of sense. Their goal is to cause chaos and divisions in American society. We all know homosexuality is one of the most divisive topics in America. Have you seen which athlete is in every story about the first two out US athletes to be competing in the Olympics?

This one is from...Golf..Digest. Golf Digest! That obviously has a lot to do with our little fringe sport.
This stuff is pretty easy at this point.
I did misspeak here. It is a troll, not a bot, so good catch there. That is what I was thinking - as I indicated in my Men in Black meme above, so good to use the correct terms as they are using them differently.
That said, the topic, timing, username nomenclature matching know Russian troll patterns, and content of it make it pretty clear these are Russian troll accounts.
