is there one? im thinking of buying a certain pistol but want some info and stuff on the trigger pull and shit like that......so if there is one can i get an invite?

i searchbard "guns" and gun cult... so sorry for makin a shout out thread..

If you're thinking of buying a high quality handgun, you'll want to have a trigger job done so that it is just right for you. Any gun can (and usually should) have a trigger job done on it. How light (or heavy I suppose) you want the trigger depends on personal preference and intended use. A competition firearm trigger should be very light, while for a firearm that is going to be used for something such as home defense there really is no need for a trigger job.

thanks, yeah when i go to the store im gunna see if i can dry fire it once or twice and just see if its okay or not..

go big or go home

For a .22 and just a starter gun for general target practice, I wouldn't worry too much about the trigger weight. If they won't let you dry fire it, ask if you brought (or bought there) a snap cap if they would. Here is a link to what I am talking about, if you're not already familiar with snap caps:

It's a pretty good thing to have anyway.

allright... yeah, this will be the first hand gun ive botten but i kinda just want to get one before someone like hillary or oboma gets into office and jacks the prices way up or just bans them or some bullshit..

I would VERY much suggest that you do not say that or anything similar when looking at handguns in the store. Do you already have the proper licensing done? Not to be too critical, but comments like that can give gun owners a bad reputation. Any politician will have a very, very hard time banning firearms or handguns, due to our Second Amendment rights. With strong organizations like the NRA exerting so much political control, and taking such a strong stand on any reforms that might harm gun ownership rights, we're probably safe for a while.

The possible exceptions to this are what are sometimes termed "scary looking weapons." Guns that simply "look" bad have gotten banned in the past, such as in California. This basically applies to AK-47s and similar guns.

hahah yeah dont worry i probably wouldnt say that while looking at a gun to buy in the store...but yeah the second amendment it pretty well protected but there is alway controversy around it....
