nice...I made my dad a pickguard for his tele for his birthday last year.

I wish I knew how to work with leather, tooled leather pickguards are so cool

yo those look dope man. i have a strat myself and am looking for some cool customization, or just starting to assemble parts for a new one, possible a more david gilmore style one. where is the cheapest place to get pick guards though?

one of those came on my guitar and the other one is from my friends. but check a local guitar shop. we have this place called guitar gallery and theyre not too expensive there

Is that just paint on plastic? Won't it look like shit if the pick actually scrapes it a couple times?

^stewmac.com is the best place to get any kind of guitar accessories/building supplies, including pickguards.

and you can spray clear acrylic over the paint to seal and protect it.
